Jason Kokrak: The three-time PGA Tour winner and LIV member highlights the field. He is coming off a sixth-place finish at Valderrama, where he was the first-round leader.
Michael Block: The club pro who found fame after his T-15 at the PGA Championship is looking to play in his second Major of the year.
Robert Rock: The Englishman has the most glorious hair in golf.
Andy Olgetree: What a year Olgetree has had. He went from struggling badly to leading the Asian Tour Order of Merit and earning a few starts on the LIV tour. With how he has been playing of late, it would be no surprise to see him earn a spot in the 151st Open Championship.

Thomas Detry: The highest-ranked player in qualifying fields, at 92nd, Detry looks to earn a spot in his third consecutive Open Championship. He finished T-34 last year.
Jonathan Sanders: Sanders played collegiately at Washington but has worked for Callaway the last four years as a manager for customer development. He is taking a day off from his full-time job to give a run at the Open.
Aaron Cockerill: The Canadian is a Monday Q favorite.

Notables in the field
Graeme McDowell: He is a U.S. Open champion and owns two career top 10s at the Open Championship, but hasn’t played a major in almost three years. In May, he had a chance to get into the U.S. Open via qualifying but stumbled late to miss out.
Sergio Garcia: From 2001 to 2016, Garcia had 10 top 10 finishes at the Open, including two runner-up finishes. He is going through qualifying for the first time. He did get through U.S. Open final qualifying and made the cut at LACC.
Tiger: But not that Tiger. This is Tiger Christensen, a rising star at Arizona. Christensen is from Germany, and he started his college career at Oklahoma State before transferring to Arizona. He had the second-best average on the team last year.
Alex Fitzpatrick: He looks to join his brother, 2022 U.S. Open champion Matt Fitzpatrick, in the field at Royal Liverpool.
