ListenTwo weeks after wondering whether her professional golf career was over, Haylee Harford Sanchez shot a final-round 63 that put her dream of returning to the LPGA back within reach.
ListenAfter another disappointing Alpena City Open round, I realized why this little tournament still has such a hold on me.
It’s good to see Harold Varner have a good week on LIV. I’ve always been a fan of his. I’ve said many times but his statement when he left for LIV was truthful and straightforward. He thanked the PGA Tour and said the offer to leave was too good to pass up. He also runs a foundation that has done amazing things in the Carolinas.
According to multiple people I spoke with Michael Block walked off the course in the Senior European Tour event after the 12th hole today in the final round of the PGA Seniors According to the multiple people I spoke with, the word in the locker room was he didn't say anything to his playing partners. Multiple people said it was known Block was frustrated with the course conditions. This morning he showed up to his tee time late and was given a two-stroke penalty. He shot an opening nine of 43 and after a bogey on 12, he walked in. On the leaderboard he is listed as a DQ. He was in the field on a sponsors exemption.
Ryan French and Mark Baldwin talk about Baldwin's comeback at the scorching Arizona Open -- and take social media questions: the next wave of players, whether Speith will win again, Blades Brown's choices, and LIV 2.0.
It’s been a long summer for @markbaldwin1 It’s hard to play free when the bills keep piling up. The Arizona was make or break time. Mark told me last week “I need some signs that I still can play”. Well he got them. For the 3rd yr in a row he finishes runner up at the AZ Open. And since amateur Cody Massa won he gets to split first-third place money with Jimmy Hard K and Trevor Lewis. A very important $16,000 check on the way. Super happy for a great friend. Awesome event as always run by the @SWSectionPGA

According to multiple people I spoke with, including players, LIV golfers could still be owed in excess of $250 Million combined from contracts they signed. The biggest portion of the lump sum is Jon Rahm who allegedly is still owed as much as….$150 million. It seems like a foregone conclusion that LIV will file for bankruptcy, so almost no chance Rahm and the others owed will get all of the money owed. Also could be converted into equity if they find investors for LIV 2.0 and the players decide to stay.

There is a seven for six playoff at the KFT Monday Q……. AND THEY WENT OFF AS A SEVENSOME!!!! Not only that. All 7 hit the fairway. And all 7 hit the green in regulation. I can’t love this enough, this is how it’s done. Thanks to @jrbecko for pics https://t.co/ayPmUGjSqZ

🏮🏮🏮Our next Drive Fore the Foundation outing will be held at Flossmoor Golf Club near Chicago on September 28th. The Monday (of course) after the Presidents Cup at Medinah. Help us help High School Golf teams in need, for which we have donated over $700,000 in equipment across the country.
We have done that with just one employee (the amazing Emily). We have very little overhead and yet have made a huge impact. This is our biggest way to raise money. So go to the Presidents Cup and stay an extra day. Flossmoor is one of my fav courses. https://t.co/jDin3JZQxh
