Traveling and didn’t see the finish in PuntaCana. Last I looked Clements was up by 4 with 7 to play. Stopped for gas and realized AN ALPS TOUR veteran won!!! Stefona Mazzoli who spent years on the Alps tour and in his first season on DP made a 24-footer to win. Oppo-field events are undefeated Also awesome to see Gordon Sargent finish T2, his final year at Vandy and the start of his pro career have been a struggle. And Ben James finished T4, kid seems to be well on his way to become a fixture on Tour.
For all the kids out there: Ryan Fox played golf for the first time at 13 , didn’t play in a competitive tournament until he was 18 , didn’t win his first big amateur event until he was 24 and didn’t turn pro until the age of 25. He is now a major champion
Before we get to excited for Fox let’s make sure the R&A aren’t going to call a penalty on him from the first round
